.Be is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Belgium.
The .Be extension is active since 1989., and as of late 2005, there are 470,000 registered .be domains.
In a bold marketing move, between November 2005 and the beginning of 2006, the .be registry let users register .be domains for free.
You can register a .be domain at EuroDns.Com.
Although it looks like a country code to-level domain, co.be is actually a domain name under the .Be extension. co.be was previously a free domain names website (freedomains.co.be) and it is now under development for a new service.
Managing this website was very time consuming for us and it did not justify itself economically.
